Non-Dual Approach to Responsibility: A Tantric Path to Unweaving Subconscious Beliefs

Tantra teaches us to co-create our destiny, aligning ourselves with the reality we desire through conscious responsibility.

Have you ever found yourself in situations where you seem to attract mishaps and unpleasant events more often than others? It's a puzzling question that has been bothering me lately. Despite my conscious efforts to be attentive and present, I still encounter incidents like being robbed twice in the last year. It makes me question, is it just bad luck or something deeper at play?

An accident that started it all

However, one incident that truly shook me was the near loss of my beloved cat, Tico. We have a terrace where Tico loves to frolic under the sun. Before taking him there, my partner and I checked for any escape routes. Before taking him there, my partner and I checked for any escape routes. We found a potential route that I was especially conscious about. There was also another way to jump to the roof, but since it was really high, we were sure Tico would not attempt to jump. One day, when I was doing yoga and journaling, I took my eyes off Tico for a moment, and he jumped from a super high spot down to the roof. Panic ensued as he had no idea how to get back. Thankfully, my partner bravely retrieved him, but this near-disaster made me think about the deeper aspects of responsibility.

From Defense to Inquiry: The Spiritual and Energetic Angle

My first reaction was to defend myself, brushing it off as a human momentary lapse. After all, it could have happened to anyone, right? I rationalized that losing my attention for a mere second was entirely human, and such a mishap could happen to anyone. This defensive reaction was a coping mechanism cultivated during my upbringing. In my earlier years, even the slightest mistakes were met with excessive blame and shame, causing me to shield myself from internalizing guilt and self-condemnation.

Nevertheless, instead of dwelling solely on this defensive stance, I chose a different path—an inward journey of spiritual and energetic exploration. This transformative choice allowed me to view the situation from a perspective beyond a frame of blame and self-judgment. It encouraged me to release the grip of the past and adopt a more innocent inquiry into the underlying causes.

Embracing responsibility is not about blaming ourselves, but rather about co-creating our reality with awareness and intention.

The Power of Trust

By looking deeper into my subconscious beliefs I discovered that trust in oneself and intuition are key factors in preventing accidents and mishaps. When we believe ourselves to be irresponsible, a whole pattern of related beliefs emerges, cutting us off from our intuitive power. Consequently, my intuition was hindered by these beliefs, leading to incidents such as being robbed and almost losing Tico.

In contrast, my partner held steadfast beliefs in responsibility and attentiveness, which projected a different energy pattern compared to my early-life belief in the opposite. While both of us, like all humans, might experience momentary lapses in attention, his intuition guides him to be especially conscious and attentive, helping him avoid potential misfortunes. These beliefs act like energetic imprints, shaping the patterns that constitute our personalities.

Our Intuition as a Guide

Amidst the noise of external influences and rational thinking, we often overlook the invaluable wisdom of our intuition. However, unweaving subconscious beliefs allows us to reconnect with this powerful inner guidance system. As we release old patterns of doubt and self-doubt, we create space for intuition to flourish.

Trusting our intuition does not imply disregarding rationality; instead, it involves integrating both logical thinking and intuitive knowing. When we learn to listen to our intuition and combine it with conscious awareness, we make decisions that resonate with our authentic selves and align with the greater flow of life.

As we release the grip of past conditioning and reframe our experiences, we recognize that every moment is a chance for growth and learning.

nON-Dual Approach to responsibility

Non-dual approach to responsibility presents us with a profound paradox, urging us to embrace both the dance of creation and the art of surrender. At its core, it acknowledges that we are human, with imperfections, while also recognizing the vastness of our inner potential. It invites us to find a delicate balance between taking conscious action and trusting the greater forces at play in the universe.

Embodying non-dual responsibility means taking ownership of our choices and actions, fully aware of their impact on our lives and the lives of others. Yet, in this responsibility, we also surrender to the flow of life's unfolding, acknowledging that there are aspects beyond our control. By embracing this paradox, we liberate ourselves from the burden of self-judgment and blame. We come to appreciate that our imperfections and our divine essence are inseparable parts of the human experience.

Tantra's Wisdom: Co-Creating of Our Reality through Responsibility

In the realm of Tantra, this non-dual approach to responsibility takes on a transformative dimension. Tantra, often misunderstood as solely a practice of sacred sexuality, is, at its core, a path to rewrite our karma, our destiny. It teaches us to become vibrational matches to a different reality, one that aligns with our deepest desires and intentions.

Tantra recognizes that our beliefs and energetic imprints shape the patterns that govern our lives. These patterns, in turn, create our reality and influence the circumstances we find ourselves in. By embracing a non-dual approach to responsibility, we take charge of these patterns and become conscious creators of our experiences.

Through Tantra, we learn to release blame and self-judgment, recognizing that every experience, even those considered mishaps or accidents, carries valuable lessons for our growth. Rather than being victims of circumstance, we step into our power as co-creators, actively participating in shaping our reality.

Embracing Life's Paradoxes: Shaping Reality with Conscious Choice

One of the key teachings of Tantra is the concept of surrender, not as a passive resignation, but as a conscious acknowledgment of the greater intelligence at play in the universe. It invites us to trust the wisdom of life's unfolding, even when faced with challenges or uncertainties. Surrendering in this context means releasing the need to control every aspect of our lives and trusting that we are supported and guided on our journey.

However, Tantra does not advocate for a passive approach to life. On the contrary, it empowers us to take conscious action aligned with our intentions. By becoming aware of our beliefs and thought patterns, we can consciously rewire our minds, shedding limiting beliefs, and embracing the ones that serve our highest good.

Responsibility y in the context of Tantra is an invitation to integrate life's paradoxes. We are called to embrace our human imperfections while acknowledging our divine potential. By taking conscious action and surrendering to the flow of life, we become conscious creators, shaping a reality that aligns with our deepest desires
