A SOCIAL CAMPAIGN

I created Stand With The Creator as a response to injustice I see in my field of creating spiritual digital content. It is a campaign to bring recognition and support to the digital creators, artists, reiki practitioners and other healers and stop the cycle of exploitation and abuse of our gifts. While I personally have faced exploitation as an artist and a reiki healer, devaluing of the creator’s role and contribution is prevalent in EVERY industry. From textile industry, education, art to digital spaces to spirituality exploitation is rampant. In our search for cheaper and more, we have become desensitized to the true cost and value of creation and time and energy it takes. This attitude of thoughtlessness and ignorance perpetuates and normalizes the cycle of unequal exchange between creators and benefactors.

In a metaphysical sense devaluing creator(ix) is devaluing a feminine aspect of divinity. It is devaluing Earth, Goddess and the Woman who births forth life and new creations. With the toxic exploitative legacy of patriarchy it is no wonder that as a society we devalue all of the traditionally feminine pursuits such as rising children, education, growing food, making clothes, cooking, taking care of others, healing, nurturing, nourishing, loving, creating. All of this pursuits that we collectively so crave and need are the ones that we also devalue seeing them as less valuable and less worthy of our investment. We all contribute to it in one way or another.

By standing together and actively supporting creators, we can challenge the status quo and reshape the narrative surrounding the value of our contributions. Let us unite in honoring the divine within ourselves and others, fostering an environment that celebrates and uplifts the sacred act of creation in all its forms. Together, we have the power to create a paradigm shift that embraces equitable value exchange and cultivates a world where every creator is recognized, respected, and valued.

I Stand With The Creator" is a pledge to honor and respect the creator within ourselves and others, while striving to establish a paradigm of equitable value exchange. It requires collective effort to dismantle the cycle of abuse and exploitation that permeates every industry, having been deeply ingrained in our lives as the norm. The "I Stand With The Creator" pledge acknowledges the inherent value within each individual, their unique gifts, and the gifts of others, fostering an environment that nurtures the growth and expression of these gifts.
