Past Life Regression: Journeying into the Depths of the Soul

In past life regression we unravel the intricate tapestry of our soul's narrative, tracing the footsteps of our ancestors and reclaiming the lost fragments of our identity scattered across the sands of time.

In the quest for self-discovery and healing, humanity has explored various avenues, from ancient spiritual practices to modern therapeutic techniques. One such practice is Past Life Regression (PLR), a method that delves into the depths of consciousness to uncover potential past life experiences that may influence our present reality. Last week I did my first past life regression to find clarity on several patterns present in my life. In this blog, I will share with my experience and also explore concept of past life regression, how it is done, the history, and reasons why people want to experience past life regression.

Past Life Regression is a therapeutic technique that works with retrieving memories and experiences from past lives or incarnations. It operates on the belief that our souls carry impressions and lessons from previous lifetimes, which can impact our current behaviors, emotions, and relationships. During a past life regression session, individuals are guided into a relaxed state of consciousness, often resembling hypnosis, where they access subconscious memories and explore past life narratives.

At the heart of past life regression lies the fundamental premise that our souls are eternal beings, traversing the realms of existence through a myriad of lifetimes, each imbued with its own tapestry of experiences, lessons, and karmic imprints. This timeless journey of the soul, often shrouded in the veils of forgetfulness, carries echoes of past traumas, triumphs, and unfinished business that reverberate through the corridors of time.

The roots of past life regression trace back to ancient spiritual traditions and beliefs in reincarnation. Cultures such as Hinduism, Buddhism, and ancient Greek philosophy espoused the idea of the soul's journey through multiple lifetimes to attain enlightenment or fulfill karmic lessons. However, the modern practice of past life regression gained prominence in the 20th century with the emergence of hypnotherapy and the pioneering work of therapists like Edgar Cayce, known as the "Sleeping Prophet," who conducted thousands of trance sessions exploring past lives.

The Impact of Past Lives on the Present:

Central to the philosophy of past life regression is the understanding that the memories and experiences of previous incarnations can leave indelible imprints on our present reality. These echoes from the past may manifest as unresolved emotions, unexplained phobias, or recurring patterns of behavior that defy rational explanation. By peering into the depths of our soul's history, we gain insights into the underlying dynamics shaping our current relationships, challenges, and aspirations.

As we navigate the realms of past lives, we uncover the echoes of ancient wisdom and experiences, each fragment offering profound insights into the tapestry of our present reality

My Past Life Regression Journey

Last week, I had my own experience with past life regression facilitated by Sosan Kochi, a Romanian energy healer and channeler. My session began with an intention to explore issues surrounding finances and a sense of safety in my current life. I wanted to delve into the idea of exploitation and understand why, despite having a large following and providing significant value to people, I have been struggling to generate income.

Initially, I felt excited to share my gift with others. However, over time, I began to feel burned out from giving without experiencing genuine reciprocity. I tried launching various offers, from art to healing to technologies, but it felt like throwing things at a wall and nothing sticking. I started feeling resentful about people commenting on how their lives had been transformed with my help, yet I remained severely underpaid. I wanted to explore the origins of my deep-seated beliefs about inadequacy, worthlessness, and working for free that were now sabotaging my ability to receive, be at ease, and trust and flow with life.

After sharing what I needed insight on, Sosan invited me to find a comfortable spot. The session was conducted online, so I made myself very comfortable and relaxed into the guided session. Initially, the past life regression session reminded me of hypnotherapy, with Sosan guiding me into a deep state of relaxation.

As I delved into the regression, I encountered vivid imagery and sensations that seemed to transcend my conscious awareness. At one point, I found myself with chains on my feet, witnessing scenes of torture and suffering in a distant past life. Despite the intensity of the experience, I remained detached, unable to fully connect with the emotions or implications of what I was witnessing.

Sosan asked a series of questions to help me sense my reality, the time I was in, and my identity. Knowing that I have a vivid imagination, I wanted to be open to the messages rather than push them and create false memories. Sometimes, that meant not being able to see things clearly; sometimes, messages were more on my body level rather than images or words, like twitching of my feet or arms. During the session, I experienced many twitches, especially in my legs.

Upon witnessing my own death in that lifetime, I felt a profound sense of relief and detachment, as if my soul were ready to transcend the earthly realm. The session concluded with a feeling of peace and a beckoning call from the stars, signaling the end of a tumultuous journey.

Reflecting on this experience, I recognized patterns of dissociation and escapism that have permeated my current life, especially during moments of stress or trauma. The regression offered valuable insights into my soul's propensity to avoid pain and seek refuge in detachment—a coping mechanism that has shaped my journey of self-discovery and embodiment.

In the aftermath of the session, I am navigating the process of integrating these revelations into my life, embracing discomfort as a pathway to deeper healing and wholeness. The journey of past life regression has illuminated aspects of my being that were previously obscured, inviting me to reclaim my connection to the physical body and the richness of human experience.

Past Life Regression is not just a method Is A dialogue with our own existence. It invites us to converse with the silent whispers of our past, unraveling the mysteries that intricately weave our present narrative.

Collective Trauma of slavery

Nearly a week after my regression I am still sitting with the feeling and imagery of slavery. When many of us think about past lives, it is tempting to imagine yourself as an important historical figure, a ruler, a queen, a priestess, a saint. And perhaps some of us at some point were, but the vast majority of people throughout history have been peasants, slaves and people living under severe oppression.

The trauma of bondage and oppression has left a profound imprint on humanity's DNA memory, echoing through generations and shaping our collective experience. From ancient civilizations to modern societies, the insidious tendrils of slavery have woven themselves into the fabric of human history, perpetuating cycles of exploitation and injustice.

Even today, we witness the enduring legacy of slavery in various forms, from human trafficking and forced labor to systemic inequalities that persist across social, economic, and political landscapes. The wounds of slavery run deep, casting a long shadow over the aspirations of freedom and equality.

Yet, amidst the darkness, there exists a glimmer of hope—a recognition that we now possess the tools and awareness to heal these collective wounds on both a personal and civic level. Through practices like past life regression, we can unearth the buried traumas of our ancestors and begin the process of reconciliation and healing.

By acknowledging the interconnectedness of our shared history and embracing the power of empathy and compassion, we can forge a path towards healing and transformation. It is through bearing witness to the pain of the past that we can pave the way for a more just and equitable future—one where the chains of oppression are finally broken, and the light of freedom shines brightly for all.

The resonance of slavery's collective wound echoes through the corridors of time, a haunting reminder of humanity's capacity for both suffering and resilience, urging us to confront the shadows of our shared history with courage and compassion.
